Humans

HUMANS exhibit the greatest physical diversity among DungeonLand’s races, ranging from slender and agile to powerfully built. Their heights vary considerably, though most stand between five and six feet tall. Human skin tones range from pale pink to chocolate brown – and every shade in between – mirroring the homelands of their ancestors: sun-bronzed coastal traders, pale northern explorers, olive-skinned desert nomads, dark-skinned tropical hunters… and others hailing from the distant islands across the sea. Human facial features are strongly individual and expressive, often accentuated by cultural adornments like piercings, scarification, or decorative tattoos (often enchanted). Their hair is worn in many styles, both practical and provocative: warriors might shave their heads save for a braided lock, while courtesans weave jewels or bells into elaborate coils. Public nudity is commonplace, and clothing is regarded not only for its comfort and visual appeal but ease of access.

Industrious and pragmatic, the humans of Covenant Vales and beyond are known to prize diversity and variety, choice and opportunity, transactional sex, and a little bit of exhibitionism.
