The Sunscorch Dunes

This desert region is a hostile sunscorched expanse characterized by endless dunes and frequent violent sandstorms, with the occasional oasis or ancient pyramid scattered across its surface or submerged in the sand. Adventurers must navigate vast stretches of endless sand dotted with crumbling ruins.

To the south, the dunes rise into jagged plateaus dotted with sandstone palaces: home to the Sphynxes—lionkin queens and their clever, slender consorts. Their society is one of sensual strategy, where power is claimed not through brute force, but through the artful dance of wit and desire.
To the north, where the dunes harden into cracked badlands, semi-nomadic Orcs roam in warbands. Their camps are unmistakable: hide tents staked with spears, the scent of sweat and musk thick in the air, and the rhythmic grunts of sparring—or fucking—echoing at all hours. Orc society is one of conquest and spoils—their raids bring back not just gold and goods, but new lovers, new bloodlines, new strength.
Between these two realms, the dunes are alive with danger and desire. Caravans wind through the sands, wary of bandits. The Oasis of Whispers is a haven where the water itself molds to the deepest fantasies of those who drink, leaving visitors tangled in the arms of mirages made flesh. And beneath the dunes, the ruins of forgotten temples pulse with residual Tingle, their traps still primed to ensnare the unwary in pleasures as deadly as they are divine. Here, in the scorching embrace of the desert, survival is as much about stamina as it is about surrender. The dunes do not forgive weakness—but they reward those who know how to bend without breaking.
Main Inhabitants: Orcs (in the north), Sphynxes (in the south). Local Tingle: Oases double Tingle recovery.
